F/W24: Rooted
The third and final delivery of F/W24 draws from the past to redefine the present, accompanied by visuals distinctly rooted in the archives.
Alongside the collection, the images present an enduring quality as if suspended in time, reminiscent of rugged 90s film stills, while equally embodying the nuances of today.
Iconic Carhartt WIP styles, such as the OG Active and Detroit Jacket, appear in shades of ‘tarragon’ green and ‘Malbec’ wine, reflecting the season’s deeper palette. These are paired with garment-dyed jersey pieces in washed yet saturated finishes, which evoke a faded, time-worn quality. The stone-dyed Stanton Jacket, featuring a traditional blouson shape, further explores this unique, patinated finish.
Elsewhere, the padded Toronto Jacket nods to utilitarian fabrics and detailing, with its ripstop construction and camouflage lining. This motif appears on the Palmer Scarf and tactile OG Active Liner, and is reimagined in a new Camo Leo form on the W' Elliot High Neck Liner and OG Single Knee Pant.
The Clarton Jacket and W’ Clayton Parka, meanwhile, take inspiration from outdoor silhouettes, while filtering them through a contemporary lens. The items have also been reimagined with details like corduroy collars and multiple gusset pockets, as well as removable hoods. The collection is rounded out by the W’ Selma Liner and Skirt, constructed from diamond-quilted taffeta fabric.
